SQL Error message / database cannot be found - Techline

Problem:

SQL Error message/ database cannot be found

 

Cause:

You do not have Administrtor rights for the Techline database.


Solution:

You can solve this problem by using the attached file and following the next steps:

 

  1. Download the "addselftosqlsysadmin.zip" file to your desktop. ( see attachment )
  2. Unzip the the zipfile en place the "addselftosqlsysadmin.txt" on the desktop.
  3. Rename the file to "addselftosqlsysadmin.cmd"
  4. Doubleclick the ADDSELFTOSQLSYSADMIN.CMD
  5. Please enter the databasename for used to connect to the Techline database (for default installations this is the SQLEXPRESS) and press <ENTER>
  6. This program will add you to the list of users with administrator rights for the Techline database.
