Server validation

The following steps need to be executed on a SharePoint server


Preconditions

  • SharePoint is installed
  • Cadac Organice Licensing Suite is installed
  • Cadac Organice Management Site (OMS) is installed
  • Configuration of OMS site has finished


Validation steps Central Administration

  1. Go to Central administration
  2. Go to System Settings
  3. Go to Manage Farm Solutions
  4. Check if the following solutions are available:
    • organice.licencing.suite.wsp
    • organice.permission.manager.wsp
    • organice.management.wsp

  5. Go to Application Management
  6. Go to Organice Management Site Administration
  7. Check if the OMS site is installedFigure 2 OMS site installed in Central Administration


Validation steps OMS site

  1. Open the OMS site
  2. In this site you should see the web part Organice Licensing Manager
  3. Tick the checkbox next to the "Show Details"
  4. Check the Comments parameter for a recent date. This date should not be more than 1 day behind.
