Repair AutoCAD/Autodesk installation

Issue:

How to repair or reinstall an AutoCAD installation from the operating system.

   

Solution:

The repair and reinstall options are done through Programs and Features:  
  1.   Click the Start menu and in the search field, type "programs and features" and select it from the search results. You may also find it through the Control Panel.
  2.   In Programs and Features, double-click AutoCAD to launch the setup program.
  3.   Click Repair or  Reinstall.
  4.   Select either Repair or Reinstall.  


Note: AutoCAD for Mac does not have a repair feature. There is only a removal utility location alongside the application.
