Images and Stamps

This article describes how to use Brava! images and stamps using the Brava! 16.0 version.

What is the difference

Images: Images are saved on the Brava! server and don’t have any SharePoint or DCS permissions Therefor they are accessible for all users, cross projects.

The location on the Brava! server is:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\IGC\Brava! Enterprise\Brava! Server\raster”

Stamps: Stamps can be created in the Brava viewer using ActiveX. The created stamps are placed in the library “Brava Stamps” on the project site. This library is automatically created when activating the Brava! feature. The library is hidden and can be accessed using the SharePoint Designer. The created stamp is for personal use (security will be set automatically). When you want to have the stamp available for multiple users, you need to change the permissions of that stamp via SharePoint Designer.

Upgrade from Brava! 7.2 to Brava! 16.0

Images: Images needs to be copied from directory C:\Program Files (x86)\IGC\Brava! Enterprise .NET\JobProcessor\StampImages

and paste into directory “C:\Program Files (x86)\IGC\Brava! Enterprise\Brava! Server\raster”

Stamps: Stamps need to be moved from the folder in the associated document library to the library “BravaStamps” (internal name). To be able to use earlier created stamps they need to be resaved using the Active X viewer associated to Brava! Version 16.0.
