I am responsible for one of the workshops at the magnificent RDM in Rotterdam. Here, I help students, teachers and researchers with the equipment available, including FDM and SLA 3D printers, various CNC routers and a robotic arm.

At the RDM Makerspace, I helped several internal and external parties with the manufacturing of their products. Using a CNC milling machine, 3D printer, laser cutter or industrial robotic arm, I made prototypes out of a wide variety of materials.

In my freelancing activities, I support companies and individuals with specific questions regarding the creation of products and prototypes. I offer support with design, 3D modeling, manufacturing through CAM and machine selection/conversion with new hardware

In this role, I was responsible for all the physical aspects of the designs we were working on, such as housing, internal structures, thermal management, lasers and visual implementation. I also took care of the CAD workflow in a collaborative team environment

Through this programme I started to focus completely on making products and completed internships at a variety of companies including Unilever and Vetus. Eventually, I started to develop myself as a product designer in a rather technical/engineering direction
