It offers powerful capabilities for creating high-quality visualisations and virtual prototypes, especially in the context of the automotive development process and CGI production. Using VRED's advanced rendering engine, users can examine the perceived quality and ergonomics of car models through accurate and detailed rendering results.

• Onboarding screen: At the start of VRED, we made UI improvements, including the onboarding screen with recent files in a tiled view and direct access to sample files.
• Preferences menu: We've improved the preferences menu with reformatting, categorisation, and a search bar for quick access to specific items, increasing efficiency.
• User interface: We've improved the UI of modules like the UV editor for dynamic scaling, which is especially useful for smaller screens.
• Single line edit: We've added some one-click rule implementations, Stream App interface adjustments, activation of Nvidia's Deep Learning Super Sampling, and additional display modes.
• Translucent AxF XRite Materials: These measured materials give you the ability to correctly visualise all kinds of translucent plastics.
• New colorspace AgX: With our efforts to increase your productivity and visual quality, we've implemented a new colour space called AgX. You can access it in the Camera Editor.
• Surface Roughness: We've added roughness settings to Subsurface Scattering for realistic rough translucent plastic, used in industrial and automotive design, such as headlights.
• Web Shop: We've added a new Ultraspheres webshop for instant access to HDRI images, backplates, and free ambient assets so you can use them right out of your scene.
• Import and export of USD files: We now support importing and exporting USD files, which provides more workflow flexibility, including collaboration with platforms like Maya.
