Increase the maximum Rating for Spare Circuits
Problem:
In a Project a Spare Circuit is created on a Panel. This Spare Circuit is given the default Rating value. When you want to increase this value it only allow you to increase until a maximum value and not above.
Cause:
The reason for this is that a Circuit is subject to a Wiretype setting. This Wiretype is dependent on several setting like Material and its Material settings. These settings control the maximum value.
Solution:
This is a Project bound setting. Results may vary per project.
When a Spare is added to a Panel, it will be part of a System Circuit.
This System Circuit depends on a Wiretype. (Not visible in the Panel-Schedule, most probably first in line in the Wire Types List.)
The Wiretype is connected to a Material.
The Material is connected to a Ground Conductor.
At the moment you 'know' the Wiretype connected to the Spare Circuit, you also know the Material.
Within the Ground Conductor Settings you select the Material.
This Material has a Table with 'Ampacity and Conductor Size'.
In our TheModus template (and its derivatives) is set to a maximum of 101A with 25mm
Required values should be added to the Table.
For example: 250A and 40mm.
The same should be done for the Material found in the Wire Sizes.
Add the required values to the Table 'Ampacity, Size and Diameter'
For example: 250 A, 40mm, 25 mm
With these settings the value for the Spare Circuit Rating can be set to a maximum of the newly added value.
