When starting Cadac software an error message is show: Log in.

Problem:

Bij het opstarten van de Autodesk/Cadac software komt een foutmelding bij het inlogscherm:

'Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click ......'

Met daarin de melding over de 'Microsoft.Web.WebView2.Core.Raw.ICoreWebView2Controller4'

Cause:

De huidig geïnstalleerde versie van Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is verouderd.

Bijv.:

Solution:

Install the most recent version of Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime:

Browse to: WebView2 - Microsoft Edge Developer
Find the 'Evergreen Bootstrapper'
Select the (minimal) version 108.0.1462.46
Click [ Download ]
Click [ Accept and Download ]
Provide the save-location for the 'MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup.exe'
Click [ Close ]
Open Windows Explorer and browse to the save-location of the 'MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup.exe'
Give a Right mouse button click on the 'MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup.exe' and select 'Properties'
Activate the 'Unblock' option:
Click [ OK ]
Doubleclick the 'MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup.exe' to start the installation.
