Successful on-site ‘Ab Initio’ Aeronautical Cartography training at Slovenia Control, Ltd.

The training course covered both theory and practical exercises in order to refresh the knowledge of:

•          Basic cartography

•          Cartographic projections and transformation

•          Horizontal reference system, as per Chapter 1.2 of latest ICO Annex 15

•          Vertical reference system, as per Chapter 1.2 of latest ICO Annex 15

•          AMDB (aerodrome mapping data sets), usage and applicability

•          MicroStation 2D
