What to do when extra lines are visible in paperspace or on a print/pdf?
Problem:
When opening a layout or when printing/plotting a layout extra lines become visible that are not visible in modelspace.
Cause:
The source of these lines is an empty Techline Peilmaatbemating (elevation dimension).
This can occur when adding a Peilmaatbemating (elevation dimension) to a Techline section.
Objects in a Techline section do not contain elevation data, so this will cause an empty dimension to be placed.
Solution:
Open the drawing in which this occurs,
Enter the command: QSELECT.
Set Quick Select to:
Apply to: Entire drawing
Object type: MLEADER
Operator: Select All
Click [ OK ]
All MLEADERS are selected.
Use the Keyboard combination CTRL+SHIFT+C (copy with base point)
Enter the coordinate: 0,0,0.
Open a new drawing with the same scale setting
Use the Keyboard combination CTRL+Shift+V (pasteblock)
Enter the insert point: 0,0,0
Explode the block.
In the new drawing, with a 'closed window' (from left to right), select all visible MLEADERS.
The number of selected MLEADERS should be less that the number of MLEADERS copied from the original drawing.
Use the Keyboard combination CTRL+SHIFT+C (copy with base point) and use coordinates 0,0,0.
Switch back to the original drawing and ERASE the selected MLEADERS.
(When available use ERASE and choose Previous)
Use the Keyboard combination CTRL+SHIFT+V and place on 0,0,0.
Explode the block
The empty MLEADERS are not copied back but remain in the 'new' drawing which can be closed without saving.
