Save credit for a discount

You automatically save credit every time you purchase Autodesk software, Cadac software, experts, services and training courses on Cadac's website. The amount of credit saved to your Cadac Wallet is displayed immediately when you place an order. The amount of credit saved to your Cadac Wallet depends on the size of your order. The more you order, the more you save!

Prepaid credit

You can also buy credit for your Cadac Wallet and use it for future orders: prepaid credit. This is useful if, for example, you have a budget that has been reserved for this purpose or if you want to purchase support in advance. You can purchase credit and check your balance at any time under My Cadac. This credit is valid indefinitely and can be used to purchase all our products.

Pay with your Cadac Wallet

The saved and/or purchased credit in your Cadac Wallet can be used for future orders. Saved credit is valid for one year and is extended by a year each time you save or purchase extra credit in that year. Simply select your Cadac Wallet to redeem credit when paying.

Please note that you cannot use Cadac Wallet saved credit for some orders.

What is a subscription with single-user access, also known as Named User?

An Autodesk subscription with single-user access allows one or more named users to access Autodesk products. Each user is assigned a license that they access using their unique login credentials.

For example, how many users can use AutoCAD?

A named user can download and install the software assigned to them on up to three devices but can use only one instance of the software at a time. So access can easily be obtained at the primary office, home office, and on a mobile device such as a laptop.

An internet connection is required to authorize the initial use, download, and installation of the software and then, at a minimum, within a 30-day timeframe for Autodesk to validate the subscription is active. An internet connection is always required to access cloud services.

When should I get a new subscription?

This subscription rate only applies to new subscriptions. Subscriptions are new if the same subscription is not about to expire within the next 90 days and has not expired within the last 90 days. You always have the option of taking out a new subscription to extend a current/expiring subscription with the same name and term.

Choosing the right licence term

When you buy a licence you can choose from the following options: three-monthly, annual or three-yearly. Whatever licence term you choose, you pay by a single upfront payment. So, your choice may have financial as well as practical implications.

If you only need to use the software for a short period of time (say, for a specific project), the 3-month option will be the right one for you. It will cost you slightly more per licence term, but you can then cancel the subscription sooner and you have greater flexibility when it comes to use/changes.

If you are a small business, you may prefer to keep everything on an annual basis. In this case, the annual subscription will be the best one for you. You benefit from a lower average cost, and you can review whether you still need the software and it is adequate for your needs on a year-by-year basis.

The three-year option offers the best deal in terms of price for large-scale users. Because you are taking out a 3-year subscription the per-month price is lower. You pay upfront and can then forget about it for the next 3 years. This is usually the most cost-effective solution for large companies or established sole traders.

How do you add to an existing contract?

Term

If you do not have an active contract with Cadac, you can select the desired term here.

Add to existing contract

Select this option if you wish to expand your current contract with new software. The new software will then have the same end date as your other software subscriptions in this contract. This provides you with a clear overview for managing all software in a single contract.

Do you have a maintenance plan? This contract type is out of date and can no longer be expanded upon. You can, however, order a new contract with the same term as your existing contract, so that both contracts expire on the same date.

Do not add

If you wish to sign a completely new contract for your software with a term of your choice, then select the option 'Do not add'. This option can be interesting if you wish to order new software for a term of 3 years while your current contract has a shorter term.

What does installation support include?
