NTT DATA CORPORATION concluded a contract with the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) on December 22 2014 for the use of NTT DATA’s PANADES Flight Procedure Design System and NedGraphics smartGlobe Aeronautical Charting System. After conclusion of the contract the software has been successfully deployed and is fully operational.

PANADES was chosen as the system that satisfies international standards and responds to the requirements for safe and efficient flight procedures, as the number of aircraft take-offs/landings increases and smartGlobe as the proven Aeronautical Charting System used by organisations such as Eurocontrol and Nav Canada. Furthermore PANADES and smartGlobe are integrated and both run on Microstation from Bentley.

NedGraphics has developed the smartGlobe ™ Aeronautical Charting System, a specialized system for the Aviation industry. Both Airlines and Civil and Military Aviation Authorities are among NedGraphics‘ customers. In 1999 smartGlobe was selected as the charting product for the Eurocontrol European Aeronautical Database project. NedGraphics European clients include thirteen Civil Aviation Authorities and outside Europe our clients include Nav Canada, and five Civil Aviation Authorities.

19 November 2013 NTT DATA Corporation has become an official Japanese distributor of the smartGlobe Aeronautical Charting System developed by NedGraphics B.V and NedGraphics has become an official European distributor of the PANADES procedure design tool developed by NTT DATA Corporation of Japan.
