file/open-save as menu does not come up

Problem:

When I hit 'open' or 'save as' the menu does not come up. Only the command line askses "Enter name of Drawing to open:"

I do not get the menu in middle of screen to open folders to find files.

Solution:

Set system variable: filedia=1
