This is remarkable in a time when cloud solutions are available in abundance and the need for modularity is growing. Different departments, different stakeholders, considerable data and a growing need for real-time information require multiple applications that must be able to communicate with each other. Compare it to an electric power cord with multiple sockets, which when turned on by a single switch supplies the right amount of energy to each device regardless of the number of devices that are plugged into it. In an ideal world, you would have a single system that could be easily changed or expanded with minimal modification. Unfortunately, we all know that such ‘all-rounders’ do not exist or are not flexible enough to be easily modified to your needs.
Instead of one system that can do everything, there seems to be a proliferation of different applications. Coordinating these applications is always a challenge, and you can never be quite sure that they are going to work together as you want them to. Doing some things manually seems unavoidable.
As a leader in digitisation, automating manual processes is high on our digital agenda. For that reason, Cadac has developed an iPaas platform (Integration Platform as a Service) that can build robust and scalable integrations and has been specifically tailored to the needs of the construction and manufacturing industry.
In the manufacturing industry, customers want to automate the entire process from quotation to delivery. This requires that applications, such as CPQ, CRM, PDM, PLM, ERP and MES, become integrated. The construction industry sees the value of using BIM to gain more control over project risks. BIM is not a system in itself but a large number of subsystems that must work together seamlessly. The challenge is integrating all the data from the various applications as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Cadac responded to this challenge by building a cloud-based application integration platform that is primarily intended for the construction and manufacturing industries. We introduce you to Cadac Connect. Cadac Connect is a user-friendly low-code platform that seamlessly integrates the most widely used systems in the industry. This platform can be deployed quickly without unnecessarily expensive installation costs.
With Cadac Connect, we meet the growing demand for integrated applications. Often, these solutions are cumbersome, expensive and unreliable. Switching to a Microsoft Azure cloud-based application makes it possible to securely connect systems and data. We can connect all your in-house and cloud-based applications with just an internet connection. Monitoring can be performed centrally, and a wide variety of connected applications means mastering individual application APIs is no longer necessary. You can manage all this using the Cadac Connect platform.
In cooperation with leading launching customers, we connected a large number of applications when developing Cadac Connect. For one of these customers, we connected their CPQ software directly to PDM, CRM, ERP and SharePoint. This allows the customer to easily configure buildings in the design phase. Design drawings are produced almost simultaneously, the quotation is completed in CRM and production is set in motion.
Are you wondering what Cadac Connect can do for your organisation? This product will be launched in the summer of 2021 and will be available on our website for easy purchase. If you would like to be kept informed about this product development, please contact us and we will be happy to tell you more.
