Create shortcut for Nordined with AutoCAD®

Problem:

After the installation of a new version of AutoCAD the following occurs:

- Nordined starts with the old (wrong) version of AutoCAD.

- AutoCAD 2024 starts without Nordined.

Cause:

The Shortcuts are being created during the installation of Nordined. During the installationprocedure you are asked to select the current AutoCAD version.

When a newer version of AutoCAD is installed afterwards, during startup the Nordined shortcut wil still be 'looking' for the prior given AutoCAD version.

Next to this AutoCAD 2024 wil only have the default AutoCAD Profile. There will be no link between AutoCAD and Nordined.

Solution:

Open Windows Explorer
Browse to the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cadac Group\Techniek 10.11\Opstart Manager\
Select the AcadOpstMan.exe
Give a RightMouseClick and choose 'Send to' -> 'Desktop (create shortcut)
On Your desktop select the newly created Shortcut
Give a RightMouseClick and choose 'Properties'
Activate the tab 'General'
Provide the Name for the shortcut (for example) “Nordined 10.11”
Activate the tab 'Shortcut'
In het field 'Target' Paste following sentence:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Cadac Group\Techniek 10.11\Opstart Manager\AcadOpstMan.exe" 2024 C:\Program Files (x86)\Cadac Group\Techniek 10.11\Lib Nordined_10_11
Close the shortcut by clicking [ OK ] .

Doubleclick the shortcut. When completed correctly the Nordined opstartmanager will be started with the option to start AutoCAD with the provided version.

AutoCAD will be started and there wil be a new Profile 'Nordined_10_11' created.

Note….

AutoCAD 2024 requires the Nordined 10.11 version. Previous version are not compatible with AutoCAD 2024.

The Latest Nordined version can be downloaded through support.cadac.com

When different versions of AutoCAD should be used simultanious, all combined with Nordined:

Repeat the steps provided for different versions of AutoCAD.

Simply change the AutoCAD version (year) in the 'Target' sentence.
