How can I get the 'old' search functionality back in the new Cadac Revit?

Problem:

The predefined searchfilters from the old TheModus (Cadac TheModus) are no longer available with the new TheModus version (Cadac Revit).

Cause:

With the update to the latest versions we have chosen not to migrate the predefined searchfilters to the new version.

Solution:

It is now possible to add custom searchfilters as favorites. With these favorites you can quickly search your most used content.

We have recreated the old searchfilters within the favorites and you can add these with the following steps to your new Cadac Revit.

Close Revit.
Download the attached 'SearchFavorites.zip' file and extract it.
Move the extracted files to the following location: C:\Users\<user> \AppData\Local\Cadac Group\TheModus Revit Addin\Config
Start Revit
In Cadac Revit the searchfilters are now available only the are grayed out.
Click 'Beheer favorieten'
In the next screen click 'OK'
The searchfilters are now available and can be used.

Note!
When you have already added your own search favorites, there already is a SearchFavorites file in the \config folder.

When you want to use our favorites, you need to overwrite your own existing file with ours. This will erase your own search favorites.

These can be recreated manually later on.
