Installation based on the downloaded version:

This manual is based on the already downloaded installation files from your manage.autodesk.com account.

This is the: Create_Installer_RVT_2024_English_WIN64.exe

Installation sequence:

Doubleclick the “Create_Installer_RVT_2024_English_WIN64.exe” to start the installation procedure:

(The name of the installation files may differ somewhat from the given name due to licensing differences.) 

 

Following screens appear:

Click:

• [ Run Installer ] to start the installation procedure
  or
• [ Open in Folder ] to start the installation procedure manually.

Following screen appears:

 

When the extraction has completed, following screen appears:

Carefully read the License and services agreement.

Activate the “I agree to the Terms of Use” option

Click [ Next ]

Following screen appears :

Provide the location where the software and the content should be installed:

 

• For the software the default folder is:
  C:\Program Files\Autodesk\
• For the content the default folder is:
  C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2024\

Click [ … ] to change the installation folder.

Click [ Install ]

Following screen appears and wil show the installation progress:

The software can be started prior to the finalization of the installation: 

 To do so, click [ Start ] 

When the installation has been successful following screen appears: 

Click [ Start ] to finalize the installation of Revit 2024 and to start using the software.

Click [ X ]  to finalize the installation of Revit 2024 and not start Revit 2024.
