Problem:
When inserting block's, the become mucht to small/large.
When drawing lines, with a specific linetype, the linetype scale is not correct.
Cause:
Most probably the drawing has been started with the wrong basesetting for the Units. (Wrong template)
Solution:
When a drawing has been started which is based on Inches, this can have several causes.
To start with, the correct template has to be chosen.
In most cases this will be the ACADISO.dwt. This template is completely designed for metric (millimeters) use.
Next to this a few other settings can be of importance.
When MEASUREINIT is set to 0 ; All new drawings started, are set to Imperial (Usage of inches)
When MEASUREINIT is set to 1 ; All new drawings started, are set to Metric (usage of millimeters)
When MEASUREMENT is set to 0 ; The current drawing is set to use inches
When MEASUREMENT is set to 1 ; The current drawing is set to use millimeters
When INSUNITS is set to 1 ; When inserting a scaling to inches wil be perfromed
When INSUNITS is set to 4 ; When inserting a scaling to millimeters wil be perfromed
Tip:
Also set MEASUREMENT and INSUNITS to the correct value for drawing used as referenced files.
