Autodesk has incorporated more than one million standard components into the 2016 version, allowing your drawing to successfully develop into a fully-fledged 3D mechanical design with an animated simulation. 

You will find many additional features in this version, including new electrical workflows, new freeform tools and a new 3D printing module. 

When you purchase a licence for Autodesk Inventor Professional 2018, you also have the right to use the 2015 version. This is the only way, in the new licensing structure, to "buy" Inventor Professional 2016 (further information on licensing).
