Xref Layersettings are reverted when openeing - AutoCAD (LT)

Problem:
When opening a drawing the layersettings for Referenced files are constantly being reverted.
The Layer settings made in the main drawing disappear.
This is the case for colors, linetypes and so on.

Solution:
These visibility settings are controlled with the variable: VISRETAIN
When VISRETAIN is set to 0 ; The Layersetting made in the Reference files take precedence.
When VISRETAIN is set to 1 ; The layersettings made in the main drawing take precedence.
