The Factory Design Suite is a full software package that helps you design facility lay-outs more effectively, document and share designs in DWG file format and increase productivity.

The Factory Design Suite Ultimate speeds up the factory lay-out planning process for structural engineers, facility managers and drafters working in the familiar AutoCAD environment. Autodesk Factory Design Suite 2016 enables you to conceptualise, plan and validate manufacturing facilities for optimised workflows and equipment placement.

Beginning 1 August 2016, this suite will no longer be available for purchase. When you purchase a licence for the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection 2019, you also have the right to use the Factory Design Suite. This is the only way, in the new licensing structure, to "buy" Factory Design Suite Ultimate 2017 (further information on licensing).
