CAD drawing management
With Cadac Organice Explorer, CAD drawings are managed in Microsoft SharePoint and can directly be opened in their application. Through the Cadac Organice toolbar that is installed in the application new drawings can directly be saved and stored into Cadac Organice, not only managing CAD files but also reference files (e.g. XREF's) blocks and images. Creating new documents can also be initiated from Cadac Organice whereby templates can be used for specific layouts. When users do not have the CAD application available but still want to open, view and print drawings, they can use the integrated viewer in Cadac Organice Explorer that supports over 250 file formats, including compound documents like drawings and designs.
Title block linking
Cadac Organice lets you link SharePoint metadata with title block attributes in the drawing. When saving the document, the metadata and title block attributes are automatically synchronized, assuring the user that both CAD file and the metadata are up-to-date.
Engineering Document Management and Control
Cadac Organice is a software suite and offers solutions for engineering document management and document control.
