Cadac Organice, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and developer of Organice, a SharePoint based engineering document management solution, has been selected by Combinatie CrommeLijn v.o.f. to deliver and implement Organice. Combinatie CrommeLijn will use Organice to design and construct the railway tunnel in Delft, the Netherlands.
Combinatie CrommeLijn v.o.f. is a consortium consisting of CFE NV, Dura Vermeer Group NV and Haverkort Voormolen BV TBI Infra. Mid 2008, Combinatie CrommeLIjn was selected by ProRail to build the railway tunnel in Delft, the Netherlands. This project includes the design and construction of a 2.3 km railway tunnel, an underground railway station, a parking garage, preparation of the planning area and execution of a large part of the master plan.
After a selection process, Combinatie CrommeLijn has chosen Organice to manage all their project documentation. The solution includes Organice Explorer to manage all project documents, Organice Scan to manage scanned documents and Organice Transmit to manage and track the document distribution to the project organization. Organice will be used to archive the CAD drawings, Office documents and e-mail correspondence. J.H. In addition we expect to be able to reduce the amount of paper, since information is digitally available to our employees."
Organice is delivered to Combinatie CrommeLijn by Cadac Organice BNL BV, a subsidiary of the Cadac Group BV, and distributor of Organice in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. In addition to providing the necessary Organice licenses, Cadac Organice BNL also supports Combinatie CrommeLijn with the installation and implementation of the software (the Microsoft SharePoint project environment and the Organice Product Suite) and with the configuration of the project environment.
