The business unit Process Industry of ABB in Finland has a Center of Excellence for Electrification, Instrumentation and Composite Plants. It includes an engineering team that executes EPC projects for customers in the process industry.
During a project the team easily creates around 4,000 documents. To support them in managing and collaborating on documents, ABB started to look for a document management solution. They chose and implemented Microsoft SharePoint and Cadac Organice, because they not only needed a solution for document management but also a platform for collaboration.
