Course Description
Thanks to the SharePoint Designer training you know how to create customized SharePoint sites matching your branding, you may want to extend your sites to include more functionality. With SharePoint Designer, you can extend your sites more easily than before.
Course objective
You will use SharePoint Designer to extend and customize existing SharePoint sites.
Target group
The SharePoint Designer advanced training is intended for entry-level SharePoint solution developers who are currently capable of creating basic SharePoint sites using the out-of-the-box functionality provided by the built-in SharePoint Designer templates, and who now want to extend or create SharePoint sites with functionality by incorporating server web controls, data controls, customized workflows, and administration.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that the student complete the SharePoint Designer training prior to this course.
Performance-Based Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- work with ASP.NET forms.
- work with Data Sources.
- use SharePoint templates to update existing sites and create new templates from these changes.
- learn some advanced data integration techniques.
- customize existing workflows.
- learn about administration tools in SharePoint Designer 2007.
